Hello!

I am a philosopher working in the areas of political theory, feminist philosophy, and epistemology.

I recently completed my PhD in political philosophy at the University of Western Ontario, and am currently a postdoctoral fellow in the philosophy department at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, as part of Dr. David Enoch's 'Liberalism Rekindled Project'. I currently live in Kingston, Ontario, Canada.

I mainly like to think about how religion fits into our political lives, and vice versa.  In particular, I like to think about how the connection between religion and politics in liberal democracies can look quite different for different identities, communication styles, historical moments, and social causes. More recently, I've been thinking about knowledge and democracy, and, specifically, what it means to know and be known by our fellow citizens.

For me, being a philosopher and doing philosophy means caring deeply about the lives of others, and expressing that care through the joint tasks of writing, reading, and thinking out-loud with others.
